It was a truly fabulous evening, with an all-star cast of presenters including Nick Clegg, Cherie Blaire, Jonathan Edwards and Her Royal Highness Princess Badiya Bint El Hassan of Jordan presenting the various nominations.

Everyone was dressed very glamorously and I was duly pleased to be wearing a Jenny Packham frock – I certainly felt the part.
